Rare Hippo, item # 406 - The Hippopotamus "River Horse" number about 157,000 in Africa. They are hunted for their meat, hides and large canine teeth, which is a substitute for ivory. The Hippo can eat up to 88 lbs. of grass a night. A male hippo can weigh up to 7000 lbs and be up to 5' tall. 15" x 10" x 5" $398.00
Rare Rhino, item # 407 - The Rhinoceros has existed on earth for 50 million years. There are only 5 species of  the rhinos surviving on earth. Two species (Black and White) occur in Africa. Three species (Indian, Javan, and Sumatran) occur in Asia. A male Rhino can weigh up to 7500 lbs and be up to 6' tall. 15" x 10" x 5" $398.00

Rare Alligator, item # 408 - The Alligator has survived unchanged since the dinosaur.  This large reptile was called "el lagarto" (the lizard) by early spaniards in Florida.  An Alligator can out run a horse for a distance of 30 feet. Alligators have a jaw crushing power of 3000 lbs per square inch. A male Gator can weigh up to 600 lbs. and be up to 13' long. 18" x 10" x 5" $398.00

Rare Polar Bear, item # 409 - The Polar Bear or often called "Sea Bear" live in the Artic Circle.  There are approximately 40,000 in existence.  The outer fur called "guard hair" is actually clear (like a tiny glass fiber).  A Polar Bear can catch and kill a seal weighing up to 150 lbs. Excellent swimmers, they have been know to swim 100 miles. A male Polar Bear can weight up to 1600 lbs and be up to 4' tall. 18" x 10" x 5" $398.00

Rare Blue Whale, item # 410 - The Blue Whale is the largest animal that ever lived on the earth.  It is also the loudest animal on earth.  They live in pods (small groups).  Each whale has two blow holes and anywhere from 2" to 14" of blubber. The whale's heart weighs 1000 lbs. A Blue Whale can weigh up to 174 tons and be up to 94' long. 18" x 10" x 5" $298.00

Rare Humpback Whale, Item # 422 - The Humpback Whale number about 40, 000. Humpbacks are acrobatic, they throw themselves out of the water, swim on their backs with flippers out of the water, engage in "tail lobbing" (raising their huge flukes out of the water and then slapping it on the water surface).  Humpbacks weight up to 40 tons and are up to 50 feet long. 15" x 10" x 5" $298.00

Rare Dolphin, item # 413 - The Dolphin lives near the coast from Cape Hatteras to Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. Dolphins are very fast swimmers. They can dive more than 1000' and can jump out of the water more than 20'. Dolphins live in small Pods of up to 12.  They weigh up to 1400 lbs. and are 12' long. 18" x 10" x 5" $298.00

Rare Lioness and Cub, item # 414 - The Lion in the 1930's numbered only 234.  They have in recent years increased rapidly.  There are two distinct species; the African and the Asiatic lions.  There is many similarities between the two. Rare Big Horn Ram, item # 416 - The Big Horn Sheep are found generally in the Rocky Mountains from Canada to Colorado. They feast on grasses, clover, and sedges in warm months.  In cold months they eat woody plants. The rams often engage in fierce jousting matches. Rare Gorilla, item # 417 - The Gorilla are an endangered specie.  The Gorilla has no known enemies, except for humans. Gorillas are herbivorous, feeding on fruit, shoots, bulbs, a little tree bark.  An adult gorilla can eat up to 15 lbs a day. Rare Timber Wolf, Item # 418 - The Timber Wolf  aka "gray wolf" can be found in most states. The wolf has powerful jaws, muscular legs and large feet. The wolf lives in a pack, which defends a territory of 50 to 120 square miles. A wolf can weigh up to 100 lbs. 15" x 10" x 5" $398.00

Rare Manatee, Item # 419 - The Manatee is protected by the Endangered Species Act and number about 2600 in the US.  Manatees are gentle and slow-moving.  They are completely herbivorous, eating plants and can consume 15% of their body weight daily.  Manatees are up to 10' in length and weight up to 1000 lbs. 18" x 10" x 5" $298.00

Rare Orca Whale, Item # 420 - The Orca Whale "wolf of the Sea" belongs to the dolphin family.  This killer whale is a toothed whale. Ocras live in small pods of 6-40 whales and are very social animals. An Orca has a life span of about 60 years. Orcas weigh up to 12,000 lbs and are up to 33' long. 15" x 12" x 5" $298.00

Rare Seal, Item # 421 - The Seal was hunted by man and nearly became an endangered species. However, they have bounced back. They play, socialize and reproduce in large groups, but they hunt and eat alone.  They can dive up to 475' for 20 minutes.  They eat fish, squid, octopus, and shrimp. A Seal can weigh up to 880 lbs. and can be up to 10' long.  They love open cold water. 18" x 10" x 5" $298.00

Rare Sperm Whale, item # 411 - The Sperm Whale was named for the valuable oil (wax) that this whale produces.  This whale is the largest toothed whale.  The Sperm Whale has the largest head of any whale.  Sperm Whales are carnivores and feed on Squid, fish, octopus, and skate. Rare Bowhead Whale, Item # 423 - The Bowhead Whale is an Arctic whale with a bow-shaped head which is up to 40% of its body length. The arched mouth is up to 10' wide and 20' deep. The Bowhead is rich in blubber up to 20" thick. The Bowhead can dive for an hour without surfacing and can dive at deep as 500'.  Bowheads can weight up to 110 tons and can be up to 60' long. 18" x 10" x 5" $298.00

Rare Sea Otter, Item # 424 - The Sea Otter number over 100,000, so the species as a whole is thriving, however, in some areas they are endangered.  Otters eat clams, mussels, chitons, snails, prawns, crabs and many other like creatures.  Otters rest in "rafts" often holding paws to stay together.
